As a result of his thought leadership in experiential learning, Kevin implements project-based and hands-on educational programs worldwide that that create valuable learning opportunities for students and tangible results for organizational partners.
Kevin plays an active, ongoing role in economic development, social enterprises, and community engagement throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut with particular focus on the Connecticut River Valley Region.
Kevin helps organizations develop their stakeholder-driven visions of the future grounded in an understanding of their core values.
In addition to his work with nonprofits and community organizations, Kevin has led or advised many substantial strategic initiatives for organizations of all size. He has also served on public company, private, and non-profit boards of directors as both a member and senior leader.
As an educator-practitioner with multiple universities, Kevin leads university, community, and industry collaboration related to experiential learning that generates real-world solutions for clients and quality educational outcomes.
Kevin has led extensive project-based learning and other academic innovation at Columbia University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and the University of Hartford (amongst others).
Kevin partners with economic development, business, nonprofit, and community leaders to create shared value through social entrepreneurship, impact investing, and experiential learning initiatives.
Kevin's community focus includes nonprofits, social entrepreneurs, and community organizers. He is passionate about developing strategies to expand access to capital in underserved communities
