Biographical Details

I have served in a variety of senior executive roles in the financial, academic, legal, and social sectors.  As a faculty member with Columbia University, WPI, Babson College, and other institutions, I have also delivered applied coursework and team-based, practice-oriented programs in community engagement, finance, FinTech, strategy, entrepreneurship, law, and economics.  And I have provided advisory and consulting services to clients and other stakeholders in all of those disciplines.

In addition to my advisory and community work, I teach and support experiential education innovation at multiple internationally respected universities:

  • I am the director of strategic partnerships for experiential education with the Sawyer Business School (SBS) at Suffolk University in Boston, MA.  I manage the SBS strategic partnership network to expand collaboration with businesses, the social sector, and the public sector in order to support and enhance the School’s broad range of innovative experiential education initiatives.

previously served as assistant dean of the Barney School of Business at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT.  I was also interim president and CEO of the nonprofit economic and real estate development firm DevelopSpringfield in Springfield, MA.  Prior to that, I also spent nearly 20 years in a variety of senior roles with MassMutual Financial Group, where I was most recently a managing director of MassMutual Capital Partners LLC.
